Alpha Industries was founded by the late Samuel Gerber in 1959, as a contractor to the US military. In 1970 the company expanded to the commercial market, and introduced their now-trademarked three bar logo to distinguish their civilian clothing. Samuel Gerber was succeeded by his wife Mildred Gerber, son-in-law Alan Cirker, and business partner John Niethammer, who grew the commercial side of the business into an outerwear brand with a global following, while remaining loyal to the brand’s army heritage. Their military-style jackets have a distinctly modern, urban twist without losing their utilitarian roots. Explore Alpha Industries’ latest collection below.
